Duval High School has an outstanding history of active engagement in the creative and performing arts. Students are immersed in multiple curricular activities in Drama, Music, Visual Arts, Visual Design, Film and Photography. Regular excursions enhance the quality and depth of student experiences.

Students are extended in co-curricular opportunities including instrumental and vocal ensembles, plays and musicals, and art exhibitions.

With a combined classroom teaching experience of over eighty years and strong community and professional links with the University of New England, Armidale Drama and Musical Society, Armidale Youth Orchestra, New England Conservatorium of Music, and Armidale City Band, the creative and performing arts staff at Duval High School are well placed to deliver an exceptional educational experience to your child.

Students can unleash their creative flair through dance and drama performances, competitions, exhibitions and enrichment programs.

Students with particular interests and talents can participate in local and statewide activities in visual arts, music, dance and drama.
